Job Opportunity

The role of the Therapeutic Residential Care Worker involves establishing a positive and nurturing relationship with children and young people, aiding them in managing their trauma-based responses to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a supportive connection with children and young people.
  • Assist individuals in coping with the consequences of trauma.
  • Contribute to the emotional, physical, psychological, and cultural development of children.
  • Provide therapeutic parenting to children who have been impacted by traumatic experiences.
  • Collaborate actively and openly with the therapeutic team.

Required qualifications include a valid Police Check, Working with Children's Check for paid employees, Victorian Driver Licence, and current COVID-19 vaccination (strongly recommended).

About You

A commitment to the values underlying our organization's vision and purpose is essential. A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention or willingness to undertake such study as part of the employment agreement is also required.
