About the Role:

Harrison McMillan is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR professional to join their People and Culture team. Reporting to the HR Advisory Manager, this role is crucial in providing efficient and effective HR advisory services within a dynamic operational and shared-service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely HR advice and support on a variety of HR policies, processes, and protocols to leaders and staff.
  • Proactively respond to feedback and concerns, managing or escalating issues as required.
  • Manage or support HR and ER/IR matters, including conducting investigations and supporting change management activities.
  • Coordinate and implement HR projects, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners to support portfolio activities and broader projects.

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
  • Understanding of awards, industrial legislation, and employee relations
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Stakeholder engagement

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field and/or relevant experience.
  • Driver's License.
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours and travel interstate or intrastate as required.
