- Job Description:
- The Balance of Plant Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the installation, commissioning, and testing of the balance of plant mechanical systems, including station cranes, water systems, piping, HVAC, draft tube gates, water level and flow measuring, air systems, oil handling system, fire protection, and workshop equipment systems.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee and manage the project team, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure they are meeting the required quality standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage the procurement process, including purchasing materials and equipment, and ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project's success.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and that the work environment is safe for employees and visitors.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a project manager in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systems, including station cranes, water systems, piping, HVAC, draft tube gates, water level and flow measuring, air systems, oil handling system, fire protection, and workshop equipment systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and technicians.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
