Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our contracts management team. This is a key leadership role that requires strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling claims and variations on large-scale projects, with a deep understanding of EPC contracts, legal compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-impact negotiations with contractors on claims and variations, driving outcomes that safeguard our interests and project objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage subcontract variations with clarity, precision, and consistent communication across all parties.
  • Strategically resolve claims and variations, balancing risk, opportunity, and the project's long-term goals.
  • Ensure legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance, reducing risk while supporting proactive decision-making.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks linked to claims, variations, and commercial issues before they escalate.
  • Provide actionable insights and reporting to senior leadership, turning complex commercial data into strategic guidance.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts administration or management, demonstrating a strong track record in handling claims and variations on large-scale projects.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of contracts professionals, with a deep understanding of EPC contracts, legal compliance, and risk management.
