The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate culinary professional to join our elderly care team and play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents through nutritious, high-quality meals.

As a culinary professional in our care home, you will create delicious, wholesome meals that cater to the individual needs of our residents, including modified diets and cultural preferences. You'll work as part of a dedicated hospitality team that values teamwork, respect, and making a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with the menu plan, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.
  • Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and care team to meet residents' individual dietary needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and comply with all food safety regulations.
  • Assist in ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.

About You:

  • Relevant certificate in commercial cooking or related field.
  • Experience cooking in elderly care is essential.
  • Understanding of special dietary needs including texture-modified and allergen-aware meals.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.
