Opportunity to Serve

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents through nutritious, high-quality meals.

The successful candidate will create delicious, wholesome meals that cater to the individual needs of our residents, including modified diets and cultural preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with the menu plan, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.
  • Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and care team to meet residents' individual dietary needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and comply with all food safety regulations.
  • Assist in ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.
About You:
  • Relevant Certificate in Commercial Cookery.
  • Experience cooking in aged care is essential.
  • Understanding of special dietary needs including texture-modified and allergen-aware meals.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing of older people.

Requirements:
  • A valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory.
