Water and Wastewater Network Planning Expert

The water sector plays a vital role in maintaining the health of our planet. As the frequency and severity of floods, droughts, and storms increase, the industry must develop resilience and lead the way.

In this key role, you will work closely with an accomplished team to deliver significant NSW, Australian, and international water infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering complex water infrastructure projects by understanding client needs.
  • Utilizing your technical, project management, and client relationship skills for proposal development, investigations, and design projects.
  • Developing solutions and preparing technical reports, designs, specifications, and presentations based on client and project requirements.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through business development and engagement throughout project delivery.

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, accompanied by 10 or more years of experience in water and wastewater systems planning and networks modeling.
  • The ability to lead and/or collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team across the project lifecycle.
  • Strong client relationship and project management skills, as well as experience in preparing winning proposals.
  • Expertise in water and wastewater systems planning, network modeling, and producing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Project management or design management experience, along with a willingness to mentor and guide junior staff.
