Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Water Infrastructure Planner. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to strategic and detailed planning services for water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying technical knowledge in hydraulic modelling and GIS platforms to assist project delivery under limited supervision. They will also support business development efforts and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through technical excellence and collaboration.

  • Deliver specific parts of water and wastewater infrastructure planning projects with minimal guidance
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of work and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Assist project managers with coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and participating in meetings
  • Develop reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement materials to support project goals
  • Collaborate with experts on hydraulic modelling, infrastructure compliance, and planning documentation

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, environmental, or related field) and experience in water/wastewater planning. They will also possess proficiency in hydraulic modelling tools and GIS software.
