Information Governance Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate and support projects within a Defence setting, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Develop and manage detailed data management structures and metadata standards to enhance information accessibility.
* Apply strong knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to assess potential risks and improve decision-making processes.
* Ensure adherence to Defence information policies and procedures to maintain high standards of information security.
* Contribute to project controls by tracking progress, reporting on key milestones, and ensuring timely project delivery.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements in information governance standards.
* Provide reporting and support to structure, store, and make information easily accessible across the organization.

**Essential Qualifications & Experience:**

* A degree or certificate in Information Technology or a related field.
* Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Defence or Government environment.
* Proven project coordination experience in a high-stakes setting.
* NV1 Security Clearance

**Desirable Skills:**

* Experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
* Familiarity with Defence information policies and procedures.
* Strong project controls experience, with the ability to manage project timelines and budgets.
* Experience working with detailed data management structures and developing metadata standards.
* Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to communicate and implement information governance improvements.
* Strong reporting skills and experience in supporting organizations to enhance data accessibility.

**About the Role:**
