About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Governance Specialist to join our team at relatbl. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting and preparing financial assessment, corporate governance, and risk management framework analysis.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and governance, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for developing written advice to assist with compliance assessments and working closely with senior management to ensure effective governance practices.

This is a 12-month labour hire contract with the possibility of long-term extension. Although the position will ideally be based in Melbourne or Perth, we are open to considering remote working arrangements for the right candidate.

Please note that only Australian citizens with the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role.

Duties:

  • Analyse and provide advice on financial information, corporate governance, and risk management information for companies participating in the relevant industry.
  • Draft well-written, concise, and relevant advice to decision-makers.
  • Use in-house financial models to assess financial resources.
  • Monitor and analyse financial reports, capital cost estimates, and data from existing and new infrastructure projects.
  • Review governance reports lodged with relevant bodies and prepare advice for senior management.

Requisite skills and experience:

  • Relevant technical or accounting/finance degree required.
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in corporate governance and risk management framework analysis, report writing, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical research abilities and presentation skills.
