About the Role
This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others as a Support Worker in a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) role based in the Tiwi Islands.
The role involves assisting a diverse range of clients, including aged and high-need clients, with everyday activities and providing support services such as domestic assistance, social support, respite, and personal care in the facility.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the Calvary Customer Experience by providing quality, responsive, and compassionate care that supports a trusting and long-term relationship with our customers and delivers our Mission through 'being for others'.
Responsibilities include providing flexible services, including personal and respite care, social support, domestic assistance, overnight care, and 24-hour support, to meet the changing needs of customers.
Requirements
Qualifications include a completed Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Individual Support. Additionally, you will require a current and valid full driver's licence, smart mobile phone, and capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
Essential Skills and Abilities
You will need effective verbal and written communication skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
Access to the internet and experience using a computer, systems, and applications are also required. Proficiency in the use of technology, such as smartphones, email, and the internet, is essential.
