Community Engagement Leader, Top End Tiwi Islands

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for an Engagement Director within our Top End Tiwi Islands team at the UM For National Indigenous Australians Agency.
This is your chance to collaborate with communities across the vibrant and diverse Top End, Northern Territory, featuring stunning landscapes including the wetlands of Kakadu National Park, waterfalls, and natural swimming holes in Litchfield National Park.
As an Engagement Director in one of our Top End Tiwi Islands teams, you will have the unique opportunity to lead our community engagement initiatives and build strong relationships with local communities. Our ideal candidate is a leader with a strong focus on the Darwin/Tiwi Islands region and can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Cultural competency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
You will be required to have a high level of cultural competency, including a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment screening check, including an Australian Criminal History Check.
