About the Position

You will be responsible for scrutinizing complex or suspicious claims to determine the need for fraud investigations.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Scrutinizing cases and creating intelligence briefings for investigators.
  • Conducting a thorough review on identified fraudulent or non-genuine claims by completing an intelligence process.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including assessors, investigators, builders, third-party drivers, relevant businesses, witnesses, other insurers, and clients.

You will also report detected fraud trends and patterns through referrals to intelligence analysts.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in intelligence, data analytics, or justice studies (preferred).
  • Experience in a similar investigation or intelligence role within insurance and/or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong computer and administration skills, strong time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and develop professional resilience.
