Senior Fraud Investigator

At the forefront of detecting and responding to internal and external payment fraud, we require an experienced and skilled professional to join our client, a federal government agency in Brisbane.
The Fraud Intelligence and Investigations Branch plays a pivotal role in this endeavour.
About the Role
- We are seeking an individual with expertise in analysing and processing information to produce accurate and informative reports.
- The ideal candidate will conduct formal and informal discussions with stakeholders, gathering evidence from various sources and preparing high-quality briefs of evidence.
- Preparing cases for referral to relevant parties, such as law enforcement agencies, is also a key responsibility.
- This role requires providing expert evidence in court as a representative of the Agency.
- Managing complex investigations, undertaking administration, reporting, and project work as required, is essential.
About You
- You must be an Australian Citizen.
- Previous experience in Fraud investigations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment are essential.
- Possess a Cert IV in Government (Investigations) or the ability to gain the qualification and/or relevant experience.
- You must be able to maintain and obtain a security clearance at 'Negative Vetting Level 1'.
