About the Role

This Senior Fraud Intelligence Investigator position offers a critical role in detecting and preventing internal fraud and financial crime. You will work closely with teams to deliver strategic insights, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.


You will leverage advanced data analytics to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends that indicate potential internal fraud or financial crime. Additionally, you will conduct deep-dive intelligence analysis into internal fraud cases, identifying scope, impact, and perpetrators.


Key responsibilities include developing and implementing tactical solutions to mitigate financial crime risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also automate, monitor, and optimize fraud detection systems, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.


A significant aspect of this role is preparing formal reports, statements, and police briefs, as well as representing the organization in judicial proceedings. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is also crucial in strengthening fraud prevention strategies.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial crime, insurance fraud, and deploying intelligence analytics across large and complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau for data interpretation and reporting
  • Strong report writing and communication skills to convey complex insights clearly
  • Ability to assess risk, modify processes, and implement strategic responses to fraud trends
  • Experience building stakeholder relationships and influencing across teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in law or financial crime (highly desired); CFE or ACAMS certification (desired)
