About the Role:

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Infrastructure team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical designs and assessments for transport and civil infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical design expertise on multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver concept designs, detailed designs, and assessments for transport and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet client expectations and deliver high-quality technical outputs.
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues to foster learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Contributing to our high-performing, engaged, and supportive team culture.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Civil Engineer with a strong background in civil transport infrastructure projects. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical designs and assessments, and be able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Extensive consulting experience on Civil Transport Infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment.
  • Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution. Demonstrated experience working to TfNSW standards.
  • Working knowledge of related disciplines including civil, rail, drainage, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Project management experience and a commitment to exceptional client service.
  • The confidence to utilize your reputation in bringing business to AECOM through networking and delivering high-quality work.
