About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Infrastructure team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical designs and assessments for transport and civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Design and Delivery: Provide technical design expertise on multi-disciplinary project teams, delivering concept designs, detailed designs, and assessments across transport and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Project Management: Contribute to the management of projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality technical outputs that meet client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support colleagues to foster learning and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded through proactive communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive consulting experience on Civil Transport Infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment.
  • Design Expertise: Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution, with a strong understanding of TfNSW standards.
  • Disciplinary Knowledge: Working knowledge of related disciplines including civil, rail, drainage, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Project Management: Project management experience, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceptional client service.
  • Business Development: The confidence to utilize your reputation in bringing business to AECOM through networking and delivering high-quality work.
