We are seeking an experienced Business Analysis Consultant to join our Brisbane Hub and support a diverse range of projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal functional and advisory role in the successful execution of our clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities- Work with various stakeholders to elicit and define business needs
- Develop and implement business process improvements
- Define epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices
- Build or support the creation of business cases, product roadmaps, and customer journeys
- Analyse and develop options papers and recommendations
- Provide task and project estimates, assist with backlog grooming, and run Scrum ceremonies and stand-ups
- Analyse and develop organisational change plans
- Perform as-is and to-be process and gap analysis
- Work with users and provide training on new processes and systems
- Plan, oversee, and contribute to system and user acceptance testing
- Assist in post-implementation support
- At least a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field of study; Master's degrees are advantageous
- Qualifications and/or certifications in Agile, SAFe, IIBA, or BABok will be given considerable regard
- 5-8 years of experience in client-facing business analyst experience
- Deep understanding of Business Analysis software, i.e. Jira, Confluence, Signavio, BPMN, or other process tools
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Analytical skills and rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, adjusting communication styles based on the audience
- Quick learner, adaptable, and able to thrive in new environments
- Experience working within large and complex organisations
- Proactive, confident, and engaging, especially when it comes to executive leadership and large stakeholder groups
