About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our Families & Community Services division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Families & Community Services division
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to drive operational and performance excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of the Newcastle Anglican Corporation
  • Secure grants and funding to support the implementation and delivery of services
  • Engage with the community to understand their needs and develop effective solutions

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience at a senior level in the child, youth, family, and community services sector
  • Demonstrated commercial and strategic acumen
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the child, youth, family, and community services sector, including funding and policy protocols, accreditation, and industrial legislation
  • Demonstrated experience using effective governance frameworks to ensure ethical use of financial resources and professional standards of planning and budgeting
  • A proven track record in successfully leading change and innovation
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions
