Electrical Engineer

  • This position plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major projects, greenfields, and brownfields within the materials handling and minerals processing environments.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, with experience in project delivery, including shutdown works, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:

">
  • Providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure the project's objectives are met, and risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Developing construction work packs, including creating, compiling, and reviewing technical and quality documents.
  • Completing material take-offs and actively participating in the development of detailed work method statements.
  • Implementing initiatives to improve costs on assigned work packages and identifying and procuring contractor-supplied items associated with work packs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide technical planning input into the development of project schedules and ensuring milestones are met.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • 2+ years' post-graduate experience in project delivery, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and implement solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build quality relationships with project stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, electrical layout drawings, shop detail drawings, and lists.
