Senior Qualified Electrician Job RoleAbout This Position

We are currently seeking a seasoned industrial electrician to take on the role of senior qualified electrician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our industrial facilities.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including controls and automation. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

Our ideal candidate will be a certified professional with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent, and an A-Grade Electrical Licence. They will have extensive experience (5+ years) in industrial electrical work, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.

Key responsibilities of the role include performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment and systems. You will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
  • A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices
