Tax Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Leader to join our organization.

Job Overview

  • Lead delivery of high-quality commercial tax advice to clients and stakeholders
  • Advise on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border expansion, financing, tax audits and compliance
  • Engage directly with Revenue authorities and produce insightful client reports and presentations
  • Provide expertise across all tax heads, ensuring full compliance for international clients and partners
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and support junior staff development and growth initiatives
  • Participate in billing, internal operations, and firm-wide business growth strategies

Requirements

  • Relevant tax qualification with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in practice and leadership roles
  • Deep knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
  • Proficient across all tax heads, with strong technical and project management skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building and client management skills
  • Confident, calm under pressure, and takes initiative in solving complex tax issues and problems
  • Demonstrated leadership with a commitment to developing both self and team members
  • Creative thinker, capable of delivering innovative tax solutions and business insights
  • Comfortable using Sage, TaxPro, ROS, DRIVE, Virtual Cabinet, and Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
