Tax Manager

Job Description
  • Leverage tax expertise to drive business growth and strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective tax planning solutions for clients across various industries.
  • Engage with revenue authorities and deliver insightful reports and presentations to clients.
  • Promote compliance and best practices in international taxation.
  • Foster collaboration and support the development of junior staff.
  • Contribute to billing, internal operations, and firm-wide initiatives.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tax qualification with at least 5 years' experience in practice.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards.
  • Strong technical and project management skills across all tax heads.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple client needs.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills to manage client expectations.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to resolve complex tax issues creatively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a commitment to self and team development.
  • Ability to think innovatively and deliver tailored tax solutions.
  • Proficient in Sage, TaxPro, ROS, DRIVE, Virtual Cabinet, and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
