Payroll Data Analytics Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Data Analytics Leader to spearhead our payroll remediation projects.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a technical expert to lead the technical review of payroll remediation projects and support various clients in Global Mobility.

  • Technical Review: As a subject matter expert, you will ensure wage compliance and accurate entitlement calculations are in accordance with legal instructions.
  • Data Modelling: You will lead specific engagements by building data models to determine applicable Fringe Benefits Tax amounts, leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to enhance efficiency.
  • Regulatory Authority Relations: You will maintain and manage relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman.
  • Coding and Analytics Tools: You will guide the team in coding, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA and data visualisation tools for Fringe Benefits Tax functions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 9 years of experience in payroll data analytics.
  • Proven experience with leading large, data-heavy engagements.
  • Strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA tools, and data visualisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent.
  • Excellent client communication and business development skills.
