Director of Market Intelligence

This is an opportunity to make a national impact on client outcomes by shaping market trends with precision and authority.

The role involves driving the company's market intelligence strategy, overseeing research outputs, and delivering data-driven insights to guide business decisions and client strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and leading a national property research strategy aligned to business growth and client success
  • Delivering regular market insights, suburb rankings, and investment-grade location strategies using data and predictive analytics
  • Managing and mentoring junior research analysts and collaborating with various teams
  • Commissioning and interpreting economic, demographic, and housing supply data to identify emerging investment markets
  • Developing thought leadership reports, quarterly market updates, and predictive trend models for internal use and client distribution
  • Overseeing research platforms, tools, and partnerships
  • Representing the company in industry forums, webinars, and client presentations

To be successful in this role, candidates will require:

  • 5+ years experience in property investment research, analytics, urban economics, or institutional property
  • Background in property economics, urban planning, finance, or data analytics
  • Strong leadership track record, including team management and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, GIS or equivalent platforms
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of market cycles, property fundamentals, and economic indicators
  • Visionary mindset with passion for helping everyday Australians succeed through property
