Research Funding Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Grants Strategist to support our research office in achieving excellent research outcomes.
About the Role:The successful applicant will work closely with researchers, senior executives, and academic leadership to develop and implement targeted strategies for improving the quality and success rates of external research proposals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Associate Deans Research and Industry Engagement to develop and implement a successful funding strategy.
- Provide expertise and guidance to researchers, teams, and executives on matters related to competitive grant schemes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies, particularly the Australian Research Council.
- Work with researchers to develop successful schemes, leveraging extensive knowledge of and experience with Australian competitive grant schemes.
- A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training, and/or experience in research administration.
- Demonstrated track record in working with researchers to develop successful schemes, with experience in ARC schemes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide accurate and consistent advice and reporting.
