Key Position in Food Services

This role involves assisting in the delivery of high-quality food and meals to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain food preparation areas, including dishwashers and storage rooms.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to resident preferences and dietary needs.
  • Handle supplies, stores, and food items in and out of cool rooms and storage rooms.
  • Meet care recipient needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation, and delivery.
  • Carry food trays from food trolleys to residents' beds.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and always clean and fully functional.
  • Report any dysfunctional equipment or hazards as soon as possible.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Food Handling.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
