Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in the dining room or directly to residents in their rooms.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining area.
  • Relate to older people, providing emotional support and empathy.
  • Manage workload effectively and be highly organised.

Requirements:

  • A current Food Handlers certificate or willingness to undertake Food Safety Training.
  • Prior experience in Food Services within Aged or Community Care.
  • Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to changing environments.
