About the Role

Securecorp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in QLD. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a pivotal role in driving proactive sales and growth strategies, fostering client relationships, and acquiring new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify potential business opportunities, develop a plan to engage key stakeholders, and position Securecorp for future opportunities.
  • Develop and Maintain Document Library: Create and maintain a comprehensive document library for future bids, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
  • Coordinate and Manage Risk and Opportunity Assessments: Conduct risk and opportunity assessments at pre-bid, pre-submit, and pre-close phases, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Manage and Coordinate Pricing and Contract Negotiations: Manage and coordinate pricing and contract negotiations with new clients and partners, ensuring that all agreements are fair and beneficial to Securecorp.
  • Develop and Maintain Beneficial Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain beneficial strategic relationships with existing clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they continue to be satisfied with Securecorp's services.
  • Manage and Coordinate the Tender Team: Manage and coordinate the tender team, including bid writers, estimators, and other key stakeholders, to ensure that all bids are submitted on time and to the required standard.
  • Manage Company Client Listing and Contract Documentation: Manage the company client listing and contract documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and readily available.
  • Produce Reports as Directed: Produce reports as directed by the parent company, providing insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ Years' Experience in Sales and Business Development: A minimum of 5+ years' experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Established Communication, Negotiation, and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage at C-suite level with large tier one clients.
  • Strong Interpersonal, Communication, and Presentation Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work in a customer-focused and time-critical environment.
  • Proven Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
