Opportunities in Tax Advisory Work

Are you looking to advance your tax law career? As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will work closely with our Partners and the wider team to leverage your knowledge and experience in income tax.

You will have the opportunity to represent many top companies in tax advisory work and resolving disputes. You will provide technically sound and commercially informed advice on tax issues relevant to transactions and projects for clients.

Adapting to the needs of the practice and your skill-set, your role may include collaborating closely with other practice groups across Allens, working with leading members of the tax bar, and supporting clients through various ATO engagement.

About Your Qualifications

You will have:

  • Experience in Tax, preferably at a large law firm or specialist tax practice.
  • Experience in advisory and transactional work and/or tax controversy.
  • Been regularly exposed to clients and provided advice both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • An ability to work independently and effectively manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters.
  • A desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
