Lead Tax and Duties Lawyer Opportunity

A highly motivated and ambitious lawyer is sought to drive the growth of our commercial law practice.

This exciting opportunity will see you become a trusted advisor for accountants, financial planners, brokers, and wealth management professionals on tax and commercial matters.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and innovative solutions to clients.

  • Deliver expert advice on income tax, state taxes, and duties ensuring practical client solutions.
  • Manage disputes with revenue authorities.
  • Contribute to commercial law matters such as business restructures and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage the delivery and implementation of legal advice from end-to-end.
  • Conduct legal research prepare letters and memos of advice and draft commercial legal documents.
  • Collaborate with BlueRock's multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Benefit from mentoring by leaders in their field.
  • Embrace new technologies in the practice of law.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years PAE at a mid-tier or top-tier law firm with a strong focus on tax and duties law.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian tax law.
  • Demonstrated experience advising in a range of tax duties and commercial matters.
  • Amazing attention to detail and prioritization skills.
