Tax Specialist Lead

KPMG Law's highly regarded national team of tax specialists has extensive experience assisting organisations in preparing for, managing and resolving tax disputes. Our busy, dynamic and growing team are looking for lawyers with expertise in tax law and disputes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to prepare for and resolve complex ATO audits, risk reviews, and disputes, providing comprehensive legal advice including taxation law and administrative law.
- Develop and maintain strong written and oral advocacy skills, ensuring effective communication with clients and other stakeholders.
Working nationally on most engagements, you will collaborate with many other specialist groups across KPMG's Deals, Tax & Legal practice in Australia and internationally.
Requirements- Proven experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in an advisory or Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills, enabling the delivery of multiple and concurrent complex projects.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, allowing effective interaction with internal and external parties, including high-level government officials and clients.
A Law Degree is required for this role.
