Job Overview

The role of a Senior Payroll Professional involves overseeing the fortnightly pay run process, including superannuation reporting, terminations and redundancies etc.

This position requires a candidate with 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience in large and complex payroll departments and organisations. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the pay run, resolving client inquiries, and managing complex payroll transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the pay run process to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate services.
  • Apply performance metrics to streamline payroll operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for resolving complex payroll issues and providing accurate guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging innovative technologies and best practices.
  • Support governance by maintaining proper authorisations and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or residency.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g. Certified Practising Payroll Manager).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
