Payroll Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team at Your Local Motor Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll and associated accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage employee records and ensure accurate maintenance
- Generate standard and customised reports as required
- Reconcile payroll and accruals, and manage payroll liability and entitlements
- Ensure company compliance with taxation, superannuation, and other legislative obligations
- Previous experience in a similar role, providing payroll functions for a large employer
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and systems
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
- Well-developed computer skills and ability to work independently
- A dynamic and autonomous role with flexible work arrangements
