This dynamic role offers the chance to manage the efficient and accurate processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls. You will work closely with senior executives to drive continuous improvements in payroll processes and overall team efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting into the HR Manager, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing payrolls for approximately 80 staff, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and maintaining accurate payroll documentation.
- The Payroll Officer will prepare and submit ATO and superannuation payments, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support the HR Manager in payroll-related matters.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in payroll management. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar.
- High-level computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft suite and internal databases.
- Experience in Greentree and/or MYOB is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence others.
