
Community Care Support Professional

This role involves working in the community, supporting people with daily activities. You will be a companion to clients and assist them with personal care, mobility and medication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
- Assist clients with personal care, mobility and prompting with medication.
- Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
- Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client.
Requirements:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (essential).
- A current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle.
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet.
