Job Title: Delivery Driver (HR Licence)

Location: Various locations in the Newcastle area

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform local and regional deliveries/pick-ups, requiring an HR licence.
  • Operate forklift vehicles to load/unload trailers and vehicles (forklift licence required).
  • Ensure accurate reporting on driver runsheets.
  • Conduct pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

Essential Experience:

  • Valid HR heavy vehicle driver's licence and forklift licence.
  • Previous express freight experience preferred.
  • Understanding of multidrop operations and familiarity with the Newcastle area.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform physical labour.

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a strong work ethic.
  • No criminal background and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Good knowledge of the Newcastle area and surrounding suburbs.

Onboarding Process:

  • Submission of all required documents including licence and driving record.
  • Buddy system for truck overview and run-through.

Training Process:

  • Ongoing internal training to upskill as required.

Working Hours:

  • Driving shifts typically start from 6-7 am, averaging an 8-hour day.

Remuneration:

  • $32.00 per hour.
