Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our HSQE team as a Cadet. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting a range of safety, quality, and environmental initiatives across diverse operations.

You will be responsible for assisting with maintaining accurate records, reports, and training documentation, as well as supporting the coordination of divisional administration and contractor compliance.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development and rollout of HSQE programs and training initiatives, help implement and monitor workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and maintain up-to-date safety and general noticeboards.

As a key member of our team, you will also participate in continuous improvement of HSQE systems and procedures, complete required quality assurance documents, and support system compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently studying or recently completed qualifications in WHS and/or Environmental Management
  • Construction Industry White Card (required)
  • Applied First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work collaboratively
  • Basic understanding of document control and HSQE systems
  • High attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in hands-on environment
  • Flexibility to travel to different sites across Australia
  • Current driver's licence
