We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant. In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering individuals with disabilities, injuries or barriers to employment, to transform their lives and achieve their goals.

About the Role

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and securing employment opportunities for participants, supporting them to become job-ready, and delivering quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
  • Support participants to identify skills required to become job-ready
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance participants' employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
Suitability

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy and compassion towards individuals with disability, injury or barriers to employment. They should be driven, solution-focused and have a can-do approach. Relevant experience in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development or administration is highly desirable.

Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to work Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
