As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in behaviour support planning and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that align with the individual's goals and needs
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviours
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
- Provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants
Requirements:
- Deemed Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field)
