Heavy Equipment Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our maintenance crew. As a key team member, you will be responsible for performing corrective maintenance repairs, general repair work, and preventative maintenance on all Terminal equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out fault finding and emergency breakdown repairs on Straddle Carriers, Reach Stackers, Forklift trucks, Quay cranes, and ancillary equipment.
  • Perform PM servicing as required in compliance with PM schedules provided.
  • Ensure all repair and service work is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Australian or recognized Mechanical trade qualification
  • Completion of year 10
  • Disconnect Reconnect restricted electrical license (preferred)
  • Forklift operator's license (preferred)
  • Elevated work platform license (preferred)

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in hydraulics, electronics, and diesel engines to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure efficient operations. Your mechanical knowledge and skills will enable you to contribute significantly to our team's success.
