**Heavy Equipment Technician Wanted**

BDS Mechanical currently has permanent positions available for experienced heavy equipment technicians to join our FIFO team. These are full time FIFO positions located at various Western Australia mine sites with multiple roster options to suit all lifestyles (2/1, 2/2 or 3/1).

**Position Overview:**

- Work on-site performing field service primarily on machines such as haul trucks, loaders, dozers, excavators, and shovels.

- Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance, requiring advanced technical skills in diagnostics.

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.

- Collaborate with the broader mining team to coordinate service schedules, aiming to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

- Australian recognised diesel fitter qualification
- Current drivers license
- Minimum 12 months post-trade experience in the mining industry.
- Full Working Rights.
- Diagnostic experience
- Experience on HD / Mining equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
