About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our workshop in Rutherford, NSW.

  • Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, repair and reassemble mechanical components
  • FOLLOW WORK INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE
  • Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify safe operation post-repair
  • Accurately complete service and repair documentation
About You

Proven experience with heavy equipment overhauls is essential. Ideally, you will have worked on underground mining equipment.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • Able to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures and report accurately
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
What's On Offer?

We offer an excellent hourly rate: $58.41 per hour (Open to negotiations based on experience).

Day shift only: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
