At CPB Contractors Pty Limited, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team for the North East Link Central Package project in Melbourne, Victoria.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and development of critical infrastructure components, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to deliver innovative solutions that meet project objectives and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of infrastructure elements, utilizing technical expertise in civil or structural engineering.
  • Employ industry-leading software and tools to enhance design efficiency, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Cordinate weekly design and construction coordination meetings, providing clear records of agreements and actions.
  • Review and manage cost plans against budget, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years' experience in relevant discipline (Geotechnical Engineering), with a Master's or Undergraduate Degree in a related field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and clients.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • A client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
