About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our Signalling Senior Project Engineer team on the Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury Tranche 2 Project. This project will play a pivotal role in transforming Australia's freight network, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of signalling systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of signalling engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design, procurement, installation, and testing and commissioning of signalling systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration with other project elements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and contractors.
  • Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to signalling systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in signalling engineering within the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of signalling systems, including design, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
