Teaching Opportunity in Catholic Education

  • We are seeking a Classroom Teacher who can create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • The successful applicant will be able to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
  • Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with relevant policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment.
  • The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.
Working Conditions:

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment.
