Teaching Students with Special Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to teach students with diverse learning needs, including those with emotional and behavioural challenges.

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans to support student growth and achievement.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Approval to teach Special Education and/or experience teaching students with Emotional Disturbance and Autism.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with demonstrated ability to utilise data to plan for effective individualised support.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage disengaged students from trauma backgrounds, using a range of strategies that lead to student growth.
