Indigenous Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Indigenous Community Support Specialist, providing exceptional customer service and community-driven support to Indigenous customers across Australia.
This full-time role is based in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to work from home or a local branch/office. To be successful, you must reside within an hour of a branch or local office.
The Commonwealth Bank's Indigenous Customer Assistance Line (ICAL) is a pioneering initiative that aims to provide relevant banking services to remote Indigenous customers. As a key member of this team, you will build and maintain positive relationships with Indigenous customers and communities, ensuring they have access to our wide range of products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to Indigenous customers via phone, promoting self-service options and identifying issues and service gaps.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including Community and Government Services, to support the bigger picture of assisting Indigenous customers with their everyday banking.
- Conduct presentations and liaise with internal stakeholders across the Bank.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated customer and community engagement skills, and the ability to work in collaboration with communities, stakeholders, and other government and non-government agencies.
You will be committed to assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups, communities, and individuals with accessing inclusive self-service banking options. You will ensure that communication and information to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples/communities is culturally appropriate and effective.
In return for your dedication and expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
