
Community Behaviour Specialist

Key to our success lies in Behaviour Support Practitioners like you, leading comprehensive behaviour support services in the community.
You will work with individuals presenting complex behaviours of concern, including intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges, delivering person-centred interventions improving quality of life.
Managing a caseload within a 35-minute radius, your support will be readily accessible, allowing clients to build capacity and independence.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored Behaviour Support Plans that cater to each client's unique needs.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, their families and support networks, fostering strong relationships built on trust and understanding.
- Reduce restrictive practices and empower clients to reach their full potential through effective coaching and mentoring.
As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in team development by mentoring and coaching less experienced practitioners, sharing your expertise and promoting growth within the organisation.
You will work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team in a flexible, community-based setting that values diversity, inclusivity and employee well-being.
