Residential Aged Care Maintenance Professional

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead a small team, coordinate with external contractors, and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

  • Oversee all aspects of property and grounds maintenance ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and presentation.
  • Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for residents by coordinating maintenance activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Coordination: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Maintenance team, fostering strong collaboration across all service areas.
  • Property & Grounds Maintenance: Coordinate and carry out preventative and responsive maintenance across facilities. Keep outdoor areas clean and visually appealing.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Deliver friendly, professional service to residents, staff, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Trade qualification or extensive hands-on experience in property maintenance and/or grounds services.
  • Confidence in using power tools, gardening equipment, and motorised small plant.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
